You might recognise Anna from Instagram- she's the blogger behind The Anna Edit & her wedding to Mark in Brighton was one of my absolute favourites from last year! It was the most relaxed, casual wedding- a quick ceremony at the Town Hall, followed by a late lunch at The Coal Shed & then back to their flat for a pizza party into the early hours.
Despite the casual vibe, their wedding was perfectly styled (of course) and every detail is pretty much exactly what I would have chosen myself. When I first met Mark & Anna in a local pub to chat about their wedding, we realised we had the exact same obscure golden Sophie Hulme dinosaur keyring (Mark thought I'd picked up their house keys and put them in my bag!) Later, on their wedding day, when I went over to their flat I felt as if I'd stepped into my own home in a parallel universe- everywhere I looked I saw something I also owned. We even buy our candles from the same tiny place in Brighton (Fig Tree from SOH Melbourne at Workshop in the Lanes... the best smell ever FYI.) So, I wasn't at all surprised to see their guest favours were also some of my favourite products from Diptyque & Aesop.
In all, it was a really lovely wedding to photograph, with family & friends at the heart of everything.
